Changed the lay out

I was little bored so I changed the lay out. I like all of these colours so have fun!

My Plane

I thought after I wrote the other blog post lets do a photo of the plane I flew with :) it was a pretty big plane for me. it was also the 3th time I flew.

need to write on this more often!

Sorry guys, I really need to write on this more often. I did thought about it for the last days but I still didn't do it. So how are you guys? feel free to make a comment so I know how everything is going in holland and other countries! I am doing really good. I am less sick now. I got sick on wednesday but I didn't thought it would take long to get better. On thursday I got all my stuff and I was off to the airport. It was a long sit in the train but I loved traveling to schiphol. If course that is cause I could fly that day! The special assistence sucks! They should pick me up from the train to the platform and they didnt :S So I had to get out of the wheelchair, lift myself out of the train and get back in the wheelchair. They did help me with my stuff so I didn't had to do that. 

The flight was lots of fun and I had a good trip. I could see on a little screen where I was in the air so that was lots of fun!! :) of course when I arrived in Birmingham I was super happy!! all of you might know it now cause I saw Aury! I love being with him right now and in a few months I will marry him :)

When I arrived in birmingham we had to take a train and a bus to coventry, that was less fun cause it was not easy with the wheelchair, suitcase and bag but we survived. In the evening we went to institute in coventry and that was lots of fun! I really enjoyed it and tomorrow I guess I will go again. 

I think you already noticed but this is going to be a long blog :) I need to do this everyday so it isnt really long everytime. On friday we didn't really did anything, we did some groceries, packed our stuff and traveled to Oxford. We were at my parents in law to be for the weekend. 

Saturday was an amazing day! We went to the LONDON TEMPLE! It is a beautiful temple, I felt the holy spirit really strong and I can;t wait to go back again and hopefully soon!! We did baptism for dead and it was a great feeling to do it for my own family! Aury baptized me and he was baptized for the male cards of  my family. 

Of course we made lots of photo's and when Aury gets back from school today he will upload the photo's and then I will post them on this and also on facebook. It will probably be a new post otherwise I have to  open this one again and add the photos in it. Hopefully with the photo's you will all have a picture how my day was. I also have a picture with the Jesus Christ Statue!! Beautifull!! When I saw that statue I thought " come unto me" Jesus Christ is my redeemer!!

After the temple we went to see a friend. She is a witness on the wedding and her name is Chloe, it was lots of fun to see her again and we had a awesome time. After that we went back to oxford and I must say I was exhausted that day!! I felt asleep at 8 pm on the couch and aury brought me to bed at 9pm!! I was that tired. I slept till sunday morning around 7 so I had enough sleep. 

On sunday we went to the church and everyone was really happy to see me. It was the 2nd time they saw me and I enjoyed the day. We also had a munch and mingle and that was fun too. We talked to the bishop about marriage and the temple and I'm really grateful we talked about that. Im less freaked out about the temple right now so that is a good thing. 

For the rest of the sunday we played games together and went to bed on time. On monday morning early we went back to coventry with the bus. We had a fun day together and we had a fun dinner! 

On tuesday we didn't had any plans. Aury went to school and I was here doing homework and using his laptop of course.  We met the missionaries cause we had to give them a package for a sister missionary I know. Sister van Eeden got transferred so I will not be able to see her but I hope she did got all the dutch stuff I brought with me. It was good we didn't had plans on this day cause I felt really miserable. Like i said earlier in this message I felt sick on wednesday. First it was a troath infection and after a couple of days it was a cold. On tuesday it was sooo bad, every few seconds it was bugging me. I even used Nasal spray!! I never use that cause I hate it so the cold was really bad otherwise I wouldn't use it. 

Today its already wednesday and I feel little better. My cold isnt bugging me as much as yesterday! today we will have a bbq with some other students here. I hope it will stay dry and get a little warmer than now. I will probably upload the photos after the BBQ.

For the rest of the week we have institute planned. Also I want to go t coventry cause I want to buy a birthday and mothersday present for my mum!  On saturday we will probably go to Birmingham and to a chocolate center (cadbury) it will be lots of fun.

Sunday April 25th

Today is the last Sunday before I go to England again. ON april 29th my plane will leave from Amsterdam schiphol to Birmingham :) I’m really excited to go again and im already thinking what I need to pack and those things. 1 thing is for sure and that’s bring lots of candy with me :P.


Today I went to church and it was fun, it’s a warm day and im glad the sun is shining. I talked to some friends today and ate lots of candy :P. I still have some photos from the last time I was in England so I will upload them later today and post them on the blog I guess. If I don’t forget it and if I have time for it.
For now it’s a short blog post. I’m tired and ready for a nap. So have a nice Sunday everyone and I will be back in the next blog post :)

Monday

So its Monday!! First day of a new week. I got up really early and cleaned up here. I really felt like a house wife :P I did some homework, watched a movie, sat in the kitchen with the other people, took 2 naps and went to bed early!! I love england, its less cold then holland I guess and we dont have snow here!! So that is really good. Tomorrow on tuesday we will go to coventry to find some earrings for my mom and just see how coventry is. I never been there of course!!! I love speaking english but I also speak dutch to Aury. His house mates think its funny and they have no idea what we are saying!!
Well I will upload a message on tuesday too I guess and maybe some photos :)

Sunday (valentines day)

Hey!! So my second day in England was Valentinesday!! I ate breakfast with Aury, his mom and little brother and after that we got ready for church!! I went to the oxford ward and it was my first time I was going to a ward in a different country!! Im used to go in the Netherlands and not in England!! But it was really fun, they had lots of babies and of course I hold a baby :) She was 6 weeks old and super cute!! After church we went back home and ate lunch, then we packed our stuff to go to the university!! We arrived in the evening to the university and I just unpacked my stuff and being with Aury. We were in the kitchen also to meet some housemates here and that was fun!! So this is a short message but I will upload photo's on friday for this post!!

Saturday, first day in England!!

Hey everyone!! I am really excited to be in England. I got up at 6 am, then left the house around 7.15 am. Then I got to the airport around 7.30 am and I went to the ryanair desk. They called someone to tell I am in a wheelchair and they told me to come back around 8.45 am, so I did. They picked me up, brought me to customs, was done in 2 minutes there, then they brought me to the passport check and I was done in less then 10 seconds there and then to the gate. I must say being in a wheelchair is really easy if you want to fly because you are done in less then 5 minutes from the customs to the gate!! Everyone is really helpfull and they ask what you want. I need to do this more often :P

The flight to england was 40 minutes, so that was really short. I didnt got sick this time and I really liked the flight. The car drive to Aury's parents house took about 2,5 hours :( that was really long but it was all worth it, because I saw Aury when I got to the house. When we got here we ate something, played on the Wii, went swimming and now i'm waiting :P. We will celebrate chinese new year tonight so thats gonna be my first time to celebrate that :) I will meet my sister in law to be tonight and I met my father in law to be this afternoon :). Its really fun here and I love being with my Fiance!!

I will put some photo's with this message so everyone can read what I did today :P. I made photo's from the ride to here and I also made a photo from  STARBUCKS!!! yes you read it I saw starbucks, that was the first time in my life!!!!

Well I need to go now!! I will probably write a message tonight and upload some more photos :) otherwise you can read one tomorrow :)

Friday evening

So this is the last update before I leave for england, well at least I guess so :P. I just packed all my stuff and put it int he bag :) Its downstairs with the wheelchair now so I dont forget it. I also have all the medication and the medication passport now. I have my boarding pass ready and my ID. Its gonna be early tomorrow morning. I have to get up at 6.30, leave at 7.15 and be at the airport around 7.30. Then go to the sevice desk because of the wheelchair and check in. Then wait untill I can go in the aircraft and around 9.30 am it has to leave. I saw today and eindhoven airport that the aircraft from this morning a delay had for more then 30 minutes. I do not hope that for tomorrow. I wanna fly on time and arrive on time :) Aury's mom and I guess his little brother will be with her will pick me up at London Stansted. Then we will drive to Oxford and hopefully we will go swimming, then probably play on the Wii and then dinner. In the evening we will probably sit on the couch and watch some tv or play the Wii. I will find out on saturday. For now im going to finish this message, im going to bed early so I can wake up tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!!??!! this is the airport where my plane will departure

Today is the day before I leave for England. I will go to england for 7 days and I am really stoked. Ive been to England before but that is a long time ago and that was with school. We visit london back then and some places around there. I really had to get used to everything and the most weirdest part of being in England was that they drive on the wrong side of the road. They tell my they are driving on the correct side of the road but that is because they are used to that and i'm not. We will see how it goes when I will be living in England and have to drive there :) :P
Today is also the day I have to pack all my stuff. I already put everything on my desk and made a list so I dont forget anything. I made a list because I will have no check in baggage, so I am only aloud to bring 10 kilo's with me, so that means not enough and only 1 bag :(. But its really weird because im a girl but I packed my bag and its only 8 kilo's including everything what has to be inside the bag :) So thats really good. I will leave on saturday morning around 7.30 am, thats way to early for me because I like to sleep :). I have to get up at 6.30 am and thats even earlier :( We will see how I am going to do this :P. My plane will leave Holland around 9.30 am and I will arrive in London Stansted, England around 9.30 am too :) Funny he, Holland and England are having 1 hour time difference. In England its 1 hour earlier then in Holland.

For now I can be really excited and making myself crazy because I still gave to wait 19-20 hours before I can fly to England. And I will see my fiance in less then 24 hours!!!!!!! Thats is soo awesome :) :)

Tuesday februari 9, 2010 :)

After my ticket got cancelled I talked to my mom and dad about it. I did that so there was a change they would let me skip school and go to england. Well they didnt but they gaved me a other suprise. After I got home on tuesday evening my dad told me something about they wanted to go to spain in march. I told them they could go but because I'm in a wheelchair is not that easy for them. I cant travel by myself to school and they werent planning to go during a break so they had to think about it again. Then they asked me how much it costs to change the ticket in the week of februari 22 to a week earlier. I told them it will cost a new tickett and 50 euro's for changing the ticket. I already knew that was not cheap and so did they. Then they told me they needed rest so in other words, they wanted me to leave :) I didnt mind at all. They said they will pay a complete new ticket, bring me to the airport and pick me up and it is a present for my birthday. I told them they my birthday is still 6/7 months away so not even close but they told me they will pay for the tickett.

So around 10 pm they bought the ticket. They asked some information they needed and I gaved it to them. I was soo excited to hear this and I was really happy. It ment I was going to be with my fiance in less then a week from that date!! I went on skype and told him immideatly I was going to england on Saturday!! He was also really happy and we can be together on valentines day!! No its only sleeping 4 nights and then I will fly to england!!

School gaved the wrong information :( !!

Around januari Aury and I bought a ticket to go to England . I asked my school when I was having the carnaval break and they told me it was in the week of 22 februari 2010. So we bought the tickett. Then a couple of weeks later I found out that the holiday has changed :( so that ment I couldnt use the ticket anymore. I was really sad and frustrated about that and so was Aury. There was nothing I could change about it because I was during that time still in the hospital and I also had to change the ticket so I could bring the wheelchair for me.
